Offshore Fishing Orlando Florida

Fishing Offshore East of Orlando Florida

Monday May 29, 2017

Catching big game while offshore fishing is a dream for many anglers visiting or living near Orlando, Florida. Orlando's offshore sportsfishing boast some of the best fishing in the continent of the United States and is close to where many people vacation during the year. If you ever consider an Orlando Fishing trip you might want to consider a professional fishing charter and up the chances of you catching that saltwater species that you've seen on so many fishing television shows.

Fun Fishing for Family and Friends

Our smaller and faster skiffs get you out to the ocean fishing grounds quickly but we're limited to four passengers because we believe that a day of offshore fishing should be just that... "A day of offshore fishing". Take your family or a couple of friends fishing and watch how much fun your family catches on when pulling in some of the ocean going fish we have east of Orlando.

A offshore deep sea fishing trip in Orlando is a fabulous way to spend the day charter fishing with your family or some friends. Reeling in big ocean going Pelagics or benthic fish is as exciting and fun for both men and women anglers but children enjoy watching their parents have a great day soaking up the sun, watching the sea-life and often pulling in the biggest fish of their lives. Whether it's bottom fishing, trolling or live-baiting for gamefish Orlando's offshore fishing trips offer it all and makes a great day for experienced anglers as well as beginners and novices.

Offshore Charter CaptainDirectly east of Orlando lies some of Florida's best offshore fishing and during certain parts of the year, some of the best offshore fishing period. During Orlando's summer we have spectacular offshore fishing for everything from King Mackerel to cobia and we're even getting a great deal of red snapper and grouper. Springtime offshore fishing is probably some of the best times for anglers coming in and charter fishing because it's a transition time and there's plenty of bait for migrating cobia, mackerel and mahi-mahi. We even catch occasional sailfish and loads of barracuda during this time of year. Winter fishing off shore of Orlando can be a bit daunting for charter fishing as the winds of winter can whip up crashing waves and make ocean trips miserable and dangerous, but for the angler that's looking for a great time of fishing there's always inshore fishing for redfish, sea trout and possibly a nice sized snook.

Fishing Forecast

May - 2017 Fishing Forecast

May in Central Florida is the beginning of great things for people looking toward an ocean fishing trip looking for fast action. King Mackerel, Cobia and even a few tarpon start to make a showing as May develops into a more summer like pattern. Inshore the fishing can be productive for early morning and evening anglers as the sun warms the gin clear waters of the Mosquito Lagoon and the Banana Rivers. Both Redfish and Spotted Sea Trout will be a popular gamefish that even the youngest anglers will appreciate and enjoy. Bring plenty of sunscreen, some polarized sunglasses and broadbill hat as the Florida sunshine will penetrate the most protected boating endeavors. May is the beginning of the summer in Florida as far as the temperatures are concerned, but there's often an afternoon shower, so be prepared to fish early and get off the water before the afternoon storms roll in. So remember, inshore fishing and offshore fishing are an equal opportunity in May in Central Florida.

Review / Trip Advisor

Inshore Charter Fishing in the Banana River Lagoon near Cocoa Beach, Florida. Catch redfish, sea trout, tarpon, snook and many other saltwater gamefish aboard the world famous Lagooner flats fishing boat with renowned Captain Richard Bradley.

Excellent people and experience! - My husband and I had never tried anything like this before so we were a bit nervous about being sea sick. Captain Richard was so nice and laid back and gave us tips and tricks to try and fight it off. My husband unfortunately was very sick even before we started to get the lines out. Captain Richard took control and told him what to do and even where to stand in the boat to make it better. Unfortunately after captain Richard tried all his tricks my husband was still pretty sick so we had to call it a day an hour early.
The day was definitely not a loss though. Even though we didn't get to catch any fish I still got to see tons of wildlife! We saw everything from dozens of turtles to Dolphins, Rays, and even an 8 ft hammerhead shark! Captain Richard is a pro and definitely knows what he's doing and talking about. I would recommend this trip for sure!
