Deep Sea Fishing Near Orlando Florida
Blue Water And Other Ocean Fishing
Tuesday October 17, 2017
"My favorite summer activity it going Deep Sea fishing near Orlando Florida with my husband, Captain Richard Bradley. It's an awesome way to slip away for the day and work on my tan while pulling in some hard fighting fish in the Atlantic Ocean," Explains Gina of Lagooner Fishing Charters. "Our summers are usually smooth, calm days, making for a speedy ride out to the fishing grounds to do some livebait trolling, bottom fishing or sight fishing. Personally I just like to relax and have an enjoyable day on the deep blue sea."
Orlando has fabulous fishing for king mackerel, cobia, tarpon, jacks and seasonal dolphin, wahoo and bottom species like snapper and grouper. The summer months is very condusive for small, high performance fishing trips hunting for deep sea species

On the left is a short video of Captain Gina deep sea fishing east of Orlando Florida on the Atlantic Ocean. "Captain Richard grabbed me quickly to quickly take off from the daily grind and spend a morning on the ocean before the sun got too hot. I caught several king mackerel and baraccuda before heading back to the house and cooking it a nice kingfish dinner for the family."
Captain Gina has her own site about activites and things to do in the Cocoa Beach, Florida area. It's a light hearted site about everything from dining, drinking and outdoors activities in her hometown area. "A short drive to and from Orlando to the east coast allows many of my friends to come over and visit our beautiful coastline and go fishing, surfing or spending a day on the beach with me." explains Gina. "We have everything to offer from partying to pleasure!"
Deep Sea Fishing is a great way to spend a day while visiting the Orlando area in Florida. Many of my regular local anglers love to take a day off during the summer for a day of fishing offshore for big game species like king mackerel, cobia and mahi-mahi. Occassionally we catch billfish like the popular sailfish but we're better known for the aforementioned fish including snapper and grouper.
When you're visiting our Florida hometown next time, please give Lagooner Fishing Guides a call and let us take you on a spectacular fishing trip directly east of Orlando. You won't regret the Florida sunshine and deep blue sea while catching a fish of your dreams.

October Deep Sea Fishing in Orlando
The Ocean during the fall can be some of the most volitile as the weather starts to blow from the Northeast and coldfronts barrage our coastline. Deepsea fishing can be very good if you can get out to the fishing grounds but as thanksgiving and Christmas approach you can count on the winds of change to start blowing. If the weather cooperates, deep sea fishing for snapper and grouper should heat up as the weather cools down. The later into the fall from Thanksgiving into late December the king mackerel bite can go into full force and anglers may see what we call a king mackerel firefight as Orlando's eastside fishing action heats up and they bite furiously for hours at a time. Overall fall fishing is very consistant for the fish bite but it's a gamble on the weather often.

October - 2017 Fishing Report
The summer is over and the autumn winds are starting to prevail as we head toward the holidays and winter. With water temperatures on the fall and water levels above average you can find good numbers of fish very close to the shoreline and against the mangroves. Mullet are in their peak run and will start to subside as we enter November, but bait, comfort and the end of the redfish spawn should keep anglers busy during the month of October. Lie mullet will trump any given bait during the fall on most days and if you're lucky enough to run into a school of big breeding redfish, it typically doesn't matter what you throw at them, just be ready for these fish that often exceed forty pounds.
Wrapping up the October report, we have been catching snook along the deeper shorelines with the seasonally high water, breeding redfish are coming to an end, but you have a chance to catch them and the fall mullet fun will keep the gamefish interesting into November.

Inshore and Offshore Charter Fishing near Orlando and Cocoa Beach, Florida. Catch redfish, sea trout, tarpon, snook and many other saltwater gamefish aboard the world famous Lagooner flats fishing boat with renowned Captain Richard Bradley.
Had the best day fishing off Cocoa Beach with Capt. Richard while we were docked in Port Canaveral for the day from the Norwegian Gem. Capt. Gina was so helpful in planning our trip months ahead and even came right to the boat and picked us up when we pulled into Port! We caught some beautiful King Mackerel and had many laughs. I would recommend Lagooner to EVERYONE. If we ever get back down there, we'll definitely go again.
