Orlando Florida Fishing Captain

Premier Guide Captain Richard Bradley

Monday May 29, 2017

If you're planning a trip to Orlando Florida, it's not too late to call Captain Richard Bradley or his charter fishing companion Captain Gina Bradley for a spectacular day of fishing on Florida's East Coast in the saltwater lagoons. Pictured is a young married couple that spent an entire day of fishing on the Banana River Lagoon catching redfish and jack crevalle.

"We had a blast with Captain Richard fishing on the lagoon and catching bait in Port Canaveral in the morning. Capt. Richard showed us techniques of catching redfish on a very windy day, when the conditions were not perfect but we managed to put a few fish in the boat while watching manatees, dolphins and stingrays swimming around the boat. Thanks for a wonderful time on the water Captain Richard." Explains Jimmy and his wife above holding her biggest redfish to date.

When looking for a fishing captain, make sure that they are a "full time" charter fishing captain. There's plenty of "part timers" out there trying to make a boat payment. Full time charter fishing captains most likely have all the qualifications, equipment and experience needed to take you, your friends or family out for a safe, productive day of fishing. When visiting the Orlando area give us a call and talk to Captain Gina of Lagooner Fishing Guides for a day of fishing with an experienced "full-time" fishing captain and you won't be disappointed.

"We'd never been with a professional charter fishing captain before and what a great experience we had while visiting Orlando with Captain Richard Bradley of Lagooner Fishing Charters"

May Charter Captain Fishing in Orlando

Fishing Captains look to spring as one of the best times of the year to produce quality gamefish for thier customers. Fish are making their move as the weather and water warms to follow the bait and fill up their tummies after a long winter lull in feeding. Look for spectacular springtime spotted sea trout fishing, great redfishing and what a wonderful time to start looking for cobia in the offshore areana. Offshore fishing will be getting better and better for anglers as the summer approaches.

Fishing Forecast

May - 2017 Fishing Forecast

May in Central Florida is the beginning of great things for people looking toward an ocean fishing trip looking for fast action. King Mackerel, Cobia and even a few tarpon start to make a showing as May develops into a more summer like pattern. Inshore the fishing can be productive for early morning and evening anglers as the sun warms the gin clear waters of the Mosquito Lagoon and the Banana Rivers. Both Redfish and Spotted Sea Trout will be a popular gamefish that even the youngest anglers will appreciate and enjoy. Bring plenty of sunscreen, some polarized sunglasses and broadbill hat as the Florida sunshine will penetrate the most protected boating endeavors. May is the beginning of the summer in Florida as far as the temperatures are concerned, but there's often an afternoon shower, so be prepared to fish early and get off the water before the afternoon storms roll in. So remember, inshore fishing and offshore fishing are an equal opportunity in May in Central Florida.
